Intricate Lies

I'm caught in her trap of intricate lies,
Ensnared by the promise of silken sighs,
A liaison between pale velvet thighs,
The oldest indiscretion my demise.

Enticing kiss laced with sweet sugar spice,
That lured me into her dark den of  vice,
My sensual heat she torments with ice,
Her passion delights come at a high price.

In lustful advances she marked my card,
As cacoethes for love leave me scarred,
By flames of sexual intension charred,
The fall to sin when I lowered my guard.

Entwined in tendrils of scented roses,
A caged bird’s tears as her love reposes,
Each weakness of heart deftly exposes,
As her will over my own imposes.
