Firestarter

As we fight we both say things we regret,
the words that cut in deep to each other.
Our voices raised; suddenly we forget
relent, reunion's kiss, we start over.

Romance of candles and roses, no way,
the fiery passion with tempers, same.
Our hot debate always leads to love play,
the fire starters that set senses to flame.

So twist in your arms, sliding to the floor,
the seething sinews in thrusting motion.
Hips locked together, thrust demanding more,
nerves tingling sparking body reaction.

Succumb to desire as your lava flows
from blazing thorn, the heat piercing my rose
